This is a school located in one of the informal areas of my city, known as 'Kibera'. It is a school that first used to be an illicit liquor place. But later on was converted into a feeding center for the children living around it. Then in 2008, it was vandalized during the post-election violence experienced in Kenya. But nevertheless the lady running it went back there and began 're-building' it, and upgraded it to a school; whereby they now have baby class, nursery and standard one (equivalent to grade one) children. 

So, we visited it, and spent time woth the children and were also able to buy them some food. 

Another story of a possibility coming out of a seemingly impossible situation.
